Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the Appeal Nos.12/2015, 51/2015 and 22/2015 filed by the respective petitioners before the District Magistrate, Kishanganj against the orders passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Kishanganj cancelling the licences of the petitioners granted for running P.D.S. shops are still pending though the same having been filed in the year 2015. It is contended that as per the statutory requirements, such appeal should be disposed of within ninety days. Having regard to the aforementioned facts and circumstances, this Court would direct the District Magistrate, Kishanganj to take expeditious steps for disposal of the aforesaid appeals on its own merit and in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy
