The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Arwal P.S. Case No. 10/2003, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The case is of the year 2003. The petitioner after 12 years prayed for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner after 12 years of the institution of the case has prayed for anticipatory bail, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, the petitioner, if so advised, may surrender

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23443 of 2015 (2) dt.08-07-2015 2/2 before the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and pray for regular bail and his prayer shall be considered taking into account that other one of the accused persons has already been enlarged on bail.
