Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 28.2.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.9039 of 2017 and the allegation against the petitioner is of demand of rangdari and apart from that witnesses have also supported the case in course of the investigation. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody since 15.11.2016 and earlier the case was fixed for argument but the argument was not concluded in spite of several dates.
Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53144 of 2018 (3) dt.03-10-2018 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the hearing of the argument and conclude it positively within a period of two months.
With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
