JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondents authority for correction of date of petitioner at employment data base which is wrongly written as 05.01.1960 instead of 15.05.1960 and further paying of 04 month salary, along with 18% per annum as same has not been paid till date to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that though the aforesaid grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, inasmuch as now he has been

Patna High Court CWJC No.13861 of 2023(2) dt.28-03-2024 2/2 paid the outstanding amount of salary for four months, however, he be granted liberty to approach the respondent-authorities for grant of interest over the delayed payment of the outstanding salary. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
