2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 927 of 2019, instituted under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act.
3. As per prosecution case, there is recovery of 8.640 litres (48 bottles 180 ml each) foreign liquor from the scooty. Petitioner is said to be the registered owner of the seized scooty.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case being the owner of the seized scooty. Petitioner was not present on the spot. No incriminating material has been

Further, it is stated that the petitioner had already sold the said vehicle to one Surendra Kumar on 13.02.2016, a copy of the Notarized Vehicle Sale and Purchase Agreement is annexed as "Annexure-P/2" in this regard. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He undertakes to co- operate in the investigation and trial.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the Petitioner, above-named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 927 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), 2023.
