JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 12-08-2016 Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is facing accusation in Amour P.S. Case No. 73 of 2016, registered under Section 307 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he assault with lathi on the head of the mother-in-law of the informant causing serious head injury.

After making submissions at some length, the counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the application to pray for regular bail in the court below.
