1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. Directing the Respondent Authorities to provide police personnel for the safety of Petitioner and her immediate family members due to threat of life to them as the Petitioner (Informant) in the murder case of her husband wherein her husband Brijnath Singh was murdered in broad daylight by miscreants using A.K. - 47 Assault Rifle and due to political rivalry as the petitioner is Mukhiya Fatehpur Panchayat Vaishali and also as she has contested against influential persons in the election."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.14883 of 2023(3) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 respondents submits, by referring to paragraph no.8 of the counter affidavit filed in the present case, that a constable, namely, Suman Kumar, has been deployed as bodyguard with one pistol and cartridges along with the petitioner and one constable, namely, Srikant Kumar has been deployed with the son of the petitioner along with pistol and cartridges, hence the present case has been rendered infructuous.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the petitioner and her son have been provided bodyguard, the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, however liberty be granted to approach this Court in case the security cover is removed in future. Liberty so sought is granted.
4. The writ petition stands disposed off.
