In this case, prayer has been made to correct the voter list of Sindhara North PACS.
A detailed guideline has been issued by the State
Patna High Court CWJC No.17482 of 2019 dt.27-08-2019 2/2 Election Authority that if a person is aggrieved by wrong preparation of voter list, he has a liberty to raise the objection in prescribed format before the Returning Officer. Further, the petitioner is neither a voter of Sindhara North PACS nor he is in any manner connected with the aforesaid PACS. Only agriculturists or the farmers, who have registered themselves can be made as a member of the PACS, would be enlisted as voters of the PACS.
In such view of the matter, this writ petition is not maintainable in the shape of Public Interest Litigation. If the petitioner is really aggrieved, he will be at liberty to approach the appropriate authority at appropriate stage for necessary correction of the voter list of Sindhara North PACS. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
