The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Digha P.S. Case No.189 of 2017 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and serious nature of allegation as also the fact that post-mortem examination report reveals that the deceased had sustained antemortem injury, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.
