2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 431 of 2025, arising out of Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 602 of 2024, dated 28.08.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 80 read with Section 3(5) of the BNS.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant's sister was subjected to regular harassment and assault by her husband and her in-laws. On 28.08.2024 at about 07:00 PM, the informant received information that his sister has been killed by the members of her matrimonial family by hanging her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation of any assault or demand of dowry, rather there is general and omnibus allegation levelled against all the co-accused persons including the petitioner. The deceased was not happy regarding her marriage with the petitioner and she herself committed suicide by hanging. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 18.04.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner is husband of the deceased and the deceased died within two months of her marriage under unnatural circumstances. It is further submitted that the post-mortem report reveals that the cause of death was asphyxia due to hanging and ligature mark was also found on the neck of the deceased.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as heinous nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, above-named, on bail.
7. Learned trial Court is directed to expedite and
