Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner was Chairman of the concerned PACS at the relevant time and allegation against him is that he misappropriated loan amount but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that loan amount was directly paid to the farmers and so far as purchased paddy is concerned, petitioner had already stored the aforesaid paddy in the godown.

Moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 3.5.2016 and investigation against him appears to have already been completed. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like
