2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the daughter of the informant, namely Jaya Kumari (the deceased) was married to one Vikash Singh on 13.03.2019. It is further alleged that Jaya Kumari was subjected to cruelty on non-fulfillment of dowry demand. Ultimately on 21.03.2025 a call was made on the mobile fo the son of the informant that the deceased has fallen. When the informant went to the matrimonial house of the deceased, she found that her daughter was dead. After that police was informed on calling at 112.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58438 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. It has also been submitted that she was living separate along with her husband. It has also been submitted that as per the FIR, the occurrence is of 21.03.2025, whereas the FIR has been lodged on 22.04.2025. There is delay of one month. The petitioner is a lady having clean antecedent and is in judicial custody since 22.04.2025.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail to the petitioner.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Parsa P.S. Case No. 107 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra.
