Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 30 of 2017 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that only because of the F.C.I. stamps on the bags, suspicion has been raised. Petitioner no. 1 is a licensee whole seller of food grains having Registration No. 4069 dated 30.06.2016. The alleged bags of rice were validly purchased by petitioner no. 1 from Baba Rice Mill, Murliganj. Receipt showing purchase is annexed with the application as Annexure-3. Petitioner no. 2 has been

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 30 of 2017 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
