The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 24.05.2022 is not being disposed of by the District Land Acquisition Officer, Kishanganj, which is effecting his rights under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

In such view of the matter, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Kishanganj, is directed to dispose of pending representation dated 24.05.2022 of the petitioner within 30 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order after hearing the petitioner in accordance with law. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14582 of 2022(2) dt.28-11-2022 2/2 District Land Acquisition Officer, Kishanganj then he can move before the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority (in short "LARRA") for redressal of his grievance. In case the petitioner moves before the LARRA by filing an application, it is expected that LARRA shall decide his claim within four months from the date of filing of the application.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
