The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No.32 of 2014 for the offence punishable under Section 304B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution story, in brief, is that marriage ceremony of Rina Devi was solemnized with co-accused Raju Kuswaha by adopting Hindu Rites and customs on 14.07.2007 and she went to her matrimonial home and thereafter her in-laws used to torture and harass her by demanding cash of Rs.1,50,000/- as dowry. They were not allowing the deceased even to talk and meet with the informant and her other family members. On 15.05.2014, the informant received information that the accused persons have murdered her daughter. Thereafter she along with her family
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25199 of 2015 (2) dt.11-06-2015 2/2 members went there and found her dead body.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and he is separate in mess and property from the husband of the deceased. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 02.04.2015.
On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the first information report. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Chandi P.S. Case no. 32 of 2014.
