The resolution of the Empowered Committee to extend benefit of 5th and 6th Pay Revision to the employees has been taken from 22.07.2016. Since Resolution No. 9 does not indicate that it is retrospective, then it has to be read as prospective in nature and the benefit will only accrue from the date of the resolution in terms of the recommendation. Petitioner has superannuated and if he found to be entitled, as per the resolution, he will get the benefit or else the decision taken in this regard will be communicated to the petitioner.
