1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the notice dated 04.04.2014 issued by the Circle Officer, Benipatti, District Madhubani under the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act for removal of encroachment over 1 decimal land of R.S. Plot No. 1195 situated in Mauza Behata, P.S. Benipatti, District Madhubani and further for direction to the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner and further for direction to execute the order dated 06.05.2013 passed by the D.C.L.R.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9625 of 2014(3) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 Benipatti in Case No. 278/2012-13."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
