In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Ratanpura P.S. Case No. 11 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

As per allegation, the petitioner was the Manager of the composite wine shop and it has been disclosed by co-accused namely Shiv Narayan Sada that he is working as an agent and selling the wine illegally with the help of the present petitioner. The prohibition on wine has been imposed in the State of Bihar since 1.4.2016, the wine were seized on 2.4.2016. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 17.4.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32410 of 2016 (2) dt.16-08-2016 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Subodh Paswan, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Birpur (Supaul) in connection with Ratanpura P.S. Case No. 11 of 2016.
