The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No.237 of 2014 registered under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, police recorded the confessional statement of the co-accused, Jitendra Nut, who confessed his guilt about committing the murder of the deceased. The dead body of the deceased was, later on, identified as of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25110 of 2015 (3) dt.23-09-2015 2/2 Baliram Sharma by his son, Dhanjeet Kumar, saying that on account of land dispute Jitendra Nut had committed the murder of the deceased and threw the dead body of the deceased at a lonely place and on returning, the motorcycle of the deceased was kept at the house of the petitioner. Except that, there is no material to connect the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Bikramganj, Rohtas, in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No.237 of 2014.
