2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 5979C of 2023 registered for offences under Sections 323, 498A, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of assaulting and torturing the complainant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. It is jointly submitted by the learned counsels

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61893 of 2025(5) dt.09-03-2026 2/2 appearing for both the parties that the matter has been settled between the parties.

5. In view of the settlement between the parties, this application is allowed.

6. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Complaint Case No. 5979 of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.

7. At the time of accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, the Court below shall verify the factum of settlement between the parties. If the complainant supports the compromise between the parties then only the bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted otherwise appropriate order shall be passed.
