The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Mohania P.S. Case No. 277 of 2021 registered under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 36 and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Though the petitioner is the owner of the alleged vehicle, but the driver has not taken the name of this petitioner in the first information report. Petitioner has no concern with the recovered illicit materials. Further he submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
