16-08-2016 Heard Sri Shailendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. Three petitioners, who are in custody since 12-05-2016 in Chousa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2016 registered for the offence under Sections 272 & 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016, have prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for petitioners that petitioners were passenger of a three-wheeler, which was intercepted by the police and from the said tempo, 24 cartoons containing about 230 litres country-made liquor and about 17 litres foreign liquor were recovered and petitioners were made accused.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32072 of 2016 (2) dt.16-08-2016 2/2 Keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let aforesaid three petitioners namely 1. Pankaj Kumar Sharma @ Pankaj Sharma, 2. Muntish Rishideo and 3. Dilkhush Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Ashok Kumar - IInd, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Uda-Kishunganj, Madhepura in connection with Chousa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2016.
