Petitioner is in custody in connection with Ghorashan (Jitna) P.S. Case No. 266 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case approximately 36 liters of nepali wine was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 9.7.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55605 of 2019(2) dt.06-09-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge IXth cum Special Judge Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Ghorasahan (Jitna) P.S. Case No. 266 of 2019.
