Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 401, 411, 413, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners were suspected to be involved in purchase and sale of stolen motorcycles for the reason that two of the petitioners had gone to the referred place to purchase a second hand motorcycle. The shopkeeper has disclosed that in the past also those accused persons had purchased the stolen motorcycles.

Considering the nature of allegation and the fact

No.55328 of 2019(2) dt.06-09-2019 2/2 that there is no direct allegation against the petitioners to be in possession of the stolen motorcycle, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Bhagwanpur Police Station Case No.85 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioners.
