In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Araria (R.S.) P.S. Case No. 44 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b) a of the Arms Act.

As per allegation, the petitioner snatched an amount of Rs. 500/- from the Informant, on alarm, the police intercepted the petitioner, from his possession, a country made pistol was recovered.

This Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Shamim @ Sultan is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32488 of 2016 (2) dt.19-08-2016 The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after one year of his judicial custody.
