The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 27(b)(ii) and 27 (d) of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act.

On a secret information, a raid was conducted at Sri Sai Hospital, where several medicines were recovered, but neither any valid license with regard to those medicines nor any paper of purchase of those medicines was produced. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is neither owner nor Director or Manager of the said hospital. Petitioner has been made accused because at the relevant time, he was present in the hospital with his ailing mother and since the staff of hospital managed to escape from there, petitioner has been made accused. Petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged recovery. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68127 of 2021(3) dt.12-07-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Biraul, Darbhanga in connection with Biraul P.S.
