JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-05-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Samastipur to dispose off his pending arms case, bearing Arms License Case No.102 of 2018, which has been filed for grant of arms license. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid case is still pending, the same shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Samastipur to dispose off the aforesaid Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.14864 of 2022(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 License Case No.102 of 2018, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
