The petitioner seeks bail in Rahika P.S. Case No. 28 of 2014, registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and under different Sections of the POCSO Act. The petitioner is alleged to have committed rape with the victim who is aged about five years. The doctor also found injury on the private part of the victim.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
