Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 121 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is the father of deceased, who in his written complaint has stated that his younger daughter was taken to Delhi by inducing by his son in law (petitioner) and after four years when they returned to home, he knew about birth of two female children from his younger daughter Khushboo. It has been further alleged that after few months petitioner and his family members started torturing her. Thereafter on 23.05.2018 he came to know that his younger daughter has been killed by

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.67030 of 2018(3) dt.11-12-2018 2/2 poisoning by petitioner and other family members. Considering the nature of allegation against petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However, after one year of custody the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
