1. In terms of provision of Sections 143, 144 of Electricity Act, 2003, this Court has been informed that Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, has already been made functional in the State of Bihar, for adjudicating disputes relating to the grievances, which may be raised in relation to disproportionate bills.

2. The petitioner would be free to take up the remedy

Patna High Court CWJC No.14904 of 2022(5) dt.06-04-2023 2/2 before the concerned Forum.

3. If such an application is moved, the same shall be decided expeditiously within a period of 30 days.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

5. In the meanwhile, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
