The petitioners, two in number, apprehend their arrest in a case under Sections 342, 506 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code.
The complainant alleged that the petitioners made her son captive and demanded extortion. The complainant earlier lodged Kotwali P.S. Case No. 257/11 but the police, after investigation, found the case false and submitted final form. A protest was filed by the complainant and, on such, after enquiry, the petitioners were summoned.
It appears that the occurrence took place due to land dispute and when the petitioners did not purchase the land, the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26637 of 2015 (2) dt.17-07-2015 2/2 complainant agreed to sell the land to Ranjan Babu. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in Complaint Case No. 1527/12, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
