The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498 A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has been submitted that this case was referred to Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57035 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/3 settlement of dispute between the parties. Mediation Centre has submitted is report stating therein that dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation, and in terms thereof, it has been resolved that parties had agreed for divorce by filing a petition under Section 13 B of Hindu Marriage Act before the family court with certain terms and conditions which have been indicated in the deed of settlement agreed between the parties which has been enclosed along with the mediation report.

In terms of settlement arrived between the parties, learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over demand draft of Rs.51,000/- to the learned counsel representing opposite party no.2/wife/complainant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail, subject to the fulfillment of agreement made on 06.11.2019 at the High Court Patna Mediation Centre between the parties, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below in connection with Comp. Case No.1586 (C) of 2005 subject to the condition
