The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Lauriya PS case no. 165 of 2021 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 328, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 33, 37(b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

A bare perusal of the report dated 05.01.2023, submitted by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran at Bettiah shows that the petitioner is an accused in three more criminal cases, however, only two cases have been disclosed in paragraph no. 3 of the present petition. In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present petition,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67956 of 2021(3) dt.10-01-2023 2/2 however, seeks liberty to file fresh petition, disclosing all the criminal antecedents of the petitioner herein.
