Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of Excise Act.

Taking into consideration that 54 litres Nepali liquor are said to have been recovered from joint possession of the petitioner and other accused while they were going on a motorcycle, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, at least, at this stage and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 94 of 2016 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi stands rejected. However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail, if
