Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Ramgarhwa P.S. Case No. 171 of 2022 registered for the offence under sections 341, 498A, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged in the first information report. Petitioner has never demanded any dowry nor tortured his wife ever. As a matter of fact, the dispute between the parties have been resolved and a compromise to that effect has been brought on record as Annexure-2. Petitioner

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Ramgarhwa P.S. Case No. 171 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
