Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Allegation is that the petitioner while carrying liquor, saw the police party and fled away throwing the bags of liquor. Petitioner has got a list of criminal cases under Excise Law.

Considering the facts of this case aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53589 of 2019(2) dt.30-08-2019 2/2 connection with Brahmpur Nanijore Police Station Case No.118 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
