Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 420, 409, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report and initially, FIR was lodged against the cashier who was custodian of the cheques. Subsequently, in course of investigation, it came to light that the petitioner, being clerk of the concerned office, was in constant touch with other accused and the FIR named accused Satish Prasad disclosed that he had given key of almirah to the petitioner. It appears that except the aforesaid material, there is nothing against the petitioner. Moreover, co-accused Satish Prasad has already been granted privilege of bail by a coordinate bench of this court. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like
