The petitioner seeks bail in Kajra P.S. Case No. 38 of 2011, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The mother of the deceased made allegation that her daughter Rajni Devi was married to the petitioner about a year ago, thereafter the accused persons were torturing her daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. She got information that her daughter was burnt and when she went there she found her daughter having burn injury all over her body and her son-in-law, the petitioner was also badly burnt.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that of course there is allegation of demand and torture, but the petitioner

No.27240 of 2014 (7) dt.20-04-2015 2/2 also got severe burn injury all over his body and this fact itself shows that the wife of the petitioner got burn injury and the petitioner made abortive attempt to save her during that time. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner also got burn injury in order to save his wife and the petitioner is in jail since 29.08.2013, as he has already remained in jail for more than 11⁄2 years the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Kajra P.S.
