In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017 (G.R. No. 91 of 2017) registered for offences under sections 366A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., she has stated that she was living with the petitioner but not as a wife. She has also not denied of sharing the room with the boy.
