Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Amarpur PS case no. 54 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 of Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the earlier case being Amarpur PS case no. 15 of 2010, he is on bail and that there is no other criminal case against him. He further submits that the dispute arose out of purchase of land from the informant's wife and because of the same, the instant case has been lodged.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, the
