The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 4315 of 2016, Trial No. 3217 of 2017 for offence under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is of torturing the complainant by petitioners on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and threatened her to solemnized second marriage of her husband. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant and have falsely been implicated in this case. He
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24672 of 2017 (3) dt.06-09-2017 2/2 further submits that they have no criminal antecedent and no specific overt act has been attributed against the petitioners. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the even of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Complaint Case No. 4315 of 2017, Trial No. 3217 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
