The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Excise P. S. Case No. 81 of 2012 registered under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

Regard being had to the recovery of certain quantity of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
