The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 307 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the D.P.Act, registered in connection with Bhojpur Mahila P.S.Case No. 64 of 2022.

As per allegation, the accused persons tortured the victim for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is Devar of the informant having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple.

On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56307 of 2022(2) dt.07-02-2023 2/2 prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Bhojpur Mahila P.S.Case No. 64 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C.
