For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Ratanakar Jha, Advocate For the Respondent/s : Mr. Madhuresh Prasad ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 29-11-2017 From the show cause filed by the respondents, it is seen that the petitioner's husband was not a regular employee and, therefore, it is stated that as per the policy of the State Government, no compassionate appointment can be granted. As far as the claim of salary is concerned, on perusal of the averments made in paragraph-16 of the show cause, it is seen that salary payable prior to 6.4.1999 have been settled but after 6.4.1999, the employee had not worked and, therefore, there is no question of payment of salary.

In view of the aforesaid, compliance reported and as the

Patna High Court MJC No.2722 of 2014 (8) dt.29-11-2017 2/2 direction to the respondents was only to decide the undisputed claim, now no further action is required in the matter. In case, the petitioner has any grievance still subsisting with regard to the averments made in the show cause, she may challenge the same afresh in accordance with law.
