The petitioner seeks bail in Bairiya P.S. Case No. 171 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 354-B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 8/12 of the POCSO Act.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner threatened the informant to withdraw the case which was lodged by her mother against petitioner and his family members. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Both parties are close relative and dispute arose over the issue of passage in between their houses and series of litigation are going on between the parties. Petitioner is in custody since 20.02.2021.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bairiya P.S. Case No. 171 of 2018.
