The petitioner, husband of the deceased has prayed for grant of bail in Sikty P.S. Case No. 25 of 2015 registered for the offence under Section 304B, 498A of the Indian Penal Code . It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the F.I.R. itself it has been disclosed that informant was informed that her daughter was suffering from diarrhoea and she died due to diarrhea, however learned Additional Public Prosecutor after examining the case diary submits that it was specific case of death by strangulation and marriage was solemnized only three years back from the date of occurrence.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36084 of 2016 (3) dt.20-12-2016 2/2 Considering the fact that petitioner is husband and there is material against him, there is no reason to grant bail. The petition stands dismissed.
