On account of torture having been exerted upon the wife even during pendency of first case, just after spending a month, that too, in the background of compromise followed with brutal assault led the institution of this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petition no. 1 is the husband and petitioner no.2 is father-in-law and so, they should be allowed anticipatory bail. Learned APP opposed the same.

In the facts and circumstances, as discussed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54340 of 2019(3) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 hereinabove, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. Furthermore, the stay granted to the petitioners vide order dated 29.08.2019 stands vacated.
