JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 25-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chenari P.S. Case No. 132 of 2014 instituted for the offence under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is husband of the deceased. There is allegation in the written report that marriage of daughter of the informant was performed with this petitioner in the year 2011. After marriage she was assaulted by the petitioner and his family members for demand of dowry. The informant learnt on 5.7.2014 that her daughter is traceless. The informant has further alleged that on search, villagers told him that petitioner along with other accused persons have killed her daughter for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Petitioner has submitted that daughter of the informant has fled away with some other persons. It has been submitted that Police during investigation and also in the supervision note has stated that girl is traceless and has found the case true for the offence under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
