BAJANTHRI) 22-10-2024 Pursuant to our previous orders the concerned parties are present in the Chamber proceedings.

2. We have heard ninth respondent-Trisha Ray against whom petitioner-Prince Raj filed a petition for habeas corpus. They were stated to have been married and ran away from home resultantly certain proceedings have been initiated.

3. We had interaction with petitioner-Prince Raj and ninth respondent-Trisha Ray and eighth respondent-Sri Ravi Bhushan Ray, father of Trisha Ray. Trisha Ray who is a major has expressed her willingness to join petitioner-Prince Raj and she has not expressed anything that she intends to join her parent like eighth respondent- Sri Ravi Bhushan Ray. Both petitioner-Prince Raj and ninth-respondent-Trisha Ray are

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1966 of 2024(4) dt.22-10-2024 2/2 majors, therefore, question of interference in the matter at the behest of eighth respondent-Sri Ravi Bhushan Ray is not warranted. Moreover, the present petition does not survive for consideration as on this day since ninth respondent-Trisha Ray is willing to stay with petitioner-Prince Raj.

4. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.

5. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a threat to the petitioner-Prince Raj and ninth respondent-Trisha Ray for their life at the behest of eighth respondent-Sri Ravi Bhushan Ray and other relatives. In this regard, ninth respondent-Trisha Ray had submitted representation on 30.06.2024 before the Superintendent of Police, Saharsa. The concerned Superintendent of Police is requested to give protection to ninth respondent-Trisha Ray and petitioner-Prince Raj in the event of any apprehension of threat from the eighth respondent- Sri Ravi Bhushan Ray.
