JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-07-2023 This application has been filed for modification of order dated 24.07.2017 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 49640 of 2015. By the said order, petitioner was granted liberty to comply the orders passed in complaint case within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of said order and thereafter, he was directed to surrender within a period of twelve weeks. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that since petitioner was suffering from several disease and was also admitted in hospital, he could not comply the order of this Court and as such, he requests for granting time to surrender and furnish bail-bond before the learned Court below.

No.71997 of 2022(2) dt.12-07-2023 2/2 In this case, order was passed in the year 2017, but petitioner has moved before this Court after a lapse of more than five years for modification of earlier order. Petitioner has not assigned any plausible reason as to why he approached this Court for extension of time to surrender after passing of more than five years.
